Well, the website is officially down, and the new website will be coming up soon. So to fill the void in our Chaotic lives, I figure we should have some discussion here! What do you guys think the new websites will be like? What features do you want to see be added in the new website?

ReplyDeleteyah, unno I don't think we will be seeing any currency, but I do think we'll see an updated portal to Perim and a way better way to manage and maintain armies.
oh, this is Hikeda ... and I wanted to go read the forums but apparently that has been affected too! AH I WANT CHAOTIC!
They are taking the whole website down. The way I see it is that they will probably fix the forums with this update.

yah at first I was thinking that everyone needed to play that 1v1 flash before going to the site.. i played like 3 times in the hopes of reaching the actual site :P

I just finished reading the entire patching article, and it looks to be decent, and not I'm not even sure that they have kept the portal to Perim aspect. I guess its not totally necessary, but it was a very nice feature to start out with. I can't wait to see the new trade and army builder...
I wonder when they're going to update for TotT, or if they're doing it now?!

I'm sure they won't do away with the portal to perim. They had information to update it in the Prima strategy guide, so they probably have even more of the information to update it by now. They might even make an update with the website, or at least I think they will keep the section.

Just a reminder to go to itunes and request that chaotic gets on itunes. If we could get the whole community to rally we would make an impact large enough for itunes to get chaotic soon.

I also downloaded this app where you can creature links and tabs on pictures and when you click a button or 2 there is a recation. With I made a makeshift pad, only I havn't quite figured how to get them to attack me :P

ReplyDeleteOf course, there would be no other reason the update is taking so long. It must be pretty hard work to make sure everything fits nicely into place on the new site from the old one.
Whenever i try to go to the site a message saying" this page requires ac_runactivecontent" is anyone else having this trouble?

Silly OG, I mean what does "Running database schema update script" mean. As in what are the guys updating the site doing when they say they're doing the above, and by that I mean what is the database schema and what script is being updated.
