But the day got away from me. You see I'm actually heading off to college on Friday, so I don't have nearly as much Chaotic time as I usually do and such. But you guys don't want this to turn into a "real" blog about my life; you guys want more previews!!
Battle95 already spoiled my fun a bit, but I would have done the same thing in his position :P.
I don't know, it seems overpowered. Battlegear destruction will probably become more available to all Tribes.
ReplyDeleteDid everyone assume it's Maxxor's Armor? It says Xerium Armor and since when did Maxxor get those Shredder claws?
ReplyDelete~timmyv
That Looks Great! i mean my friend kept on Bragging on how he could massive damage with one attack but now he's ruined with that!
ReplyDelete-7upguy
Oooh, cool.. I would have thought it was mipedian "Xerium" "Tune of Xerium"... Xerium must me something to do with BG, I guess. Anyway, that is one darn cool gear. Great for shutting down decks that do lots of damage in one go, like mipedian and underworld armies, as well nethuar/galdrad or any other attack-powering chieftains. I guess non-elemental overworld and danian will do best against this.. Btw, it goes perfectly with Maxxor PoP, makes the battle drag on longer and letting him max out his ability
ReplyDeletesweet that will weaken super cooled decks :D and if you put that one mip in with your overworlders it will gain untargetable
ReplyDeleteAww Man strike deck murderer! Now what are we going to do....
ReplyDeleteIts kinda like a abreid but you dont have to take out one of your open creature spots.
ReplyDeletePersonally I dont really like it, if I got it I might use it, but I wouldnt go searchign through boxes and boxes for it. Im guessing ultra..?
Booya
yeah its ultra and occasus are you sure its the amour maxxor was wearing ?
ReplyDeleteOccasus (or anyone else for that matter) Could you please post a picture of the new Kopond, or at least say what rarity it will be.
ReplyDelete-Thanks
Darkwing13
P.S. that battlegear is sick. I hope I get one, I'd give it 10 out of 10
way too overpowered i hate it (unless i get it)
ReplyDeleteDemonLegend
putting it on a khorror=ouch
ReplyDeletePeople it says attack so invisibility still works yesssssss
ReplyDeleteInvisibility won't work. Invisibility increases the damage of the first attack you play, so that's attack damage.
ReplyDeleteIf it isn't Maxxor's armor, it is the closest looking armor in all of Perim, I can tell you that much.
This battlegear is going to Ultra Rare..I just know it. But it's a good gear. Great against those big damage dealing decks. Mipedian's are quite annoying for dealing lots of damage..Along with M'arrilions. But no more! :D This gear is something I would definitely have in my army.
ReplyDeletemipedians will still survive count on it
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Mipedians will still be strong deck type! In fact, the codemasters at Gen Con didn't want to play with the Mipedian deck because they thought it was too good and it would just rip apart any deck it would go up against :).
ReplyDeleteThe gear is definatly super powered, but not OVER powered. Many decks use standard attacks that deal between 15 and 20 damage with the majority if their attacks. It does hurt the BIG cost attacks, like SCR and ID, but if you're playing them for their ability it's worth the hit.
ReplyDeleteNow Mipedian, UW, and Danian Courage Compost decks wil haaaaaaaaaate this gear. But, again this is why we all run gear grind :D
On a side not, Nimmei LOVES this card >_>... 130+ energy + no more than 20 damage a round = looooooooooooooooooooooooooong hard battle to kill it :D
I like it, ultra fo sho though. Check out the new Headmaster at TCGplayer.com!
ReplyDeleteguys the mipedains aren't out yet anyone remember disarm ? :P oh and you guys that are asking about the rarity it says ultra under the silver symbol so I'm pretty sure its going to be ultra :P
ReplyDeletenew headmaster stinks
ReplyDeleteThis armor is really interesting. I like it. It would prevent maybe 5 to 10 damages by attack, which make a difference, but not a overwhelming one since the creature won't have a battlegear that give element or outperform 5.
ReplyDeleteDa-err.. Dang straight Tsunai! Nimmei with this gear would be almost unstoppable. Stats and energy in the triple digits without being ablle to take more than 20.. Ouch.
ReplyDeleteStill it's a long way from being overpowered. Discord of disarming, the new qwun, wamma H O, gear grind, shock song, atrapol, armament A, strengthening bond, slime slam, elemental oxidation.. Any of these, and more, can destroy a single battlegear, and that's all you need, since the gear is unique. For a lone gear, it's powerful, but still vulnerable, so no, I wouldn't say overpowered. It's the kind of thing that has real devastating effects, like husk armour, but unlike husk armour, it takes a bit of know-how to use it right (instead of just throwing it down on bladez -_-' - Bitter much? Yup.)
yes for most decks it would hurt some, but not all marrilian armies would be gone. after all if you use gantrak then the armor is useless.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mandible muge i really want this battlegear on my Nimmei and if i put a lot of Mandiblor and infect some creature Nimmei is almost unstoppable
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have a picture of the new kopond? or does anyone know it's rarity? Plz
ReplyDelete-Darkwing13
