Guessing Time!

TCDOP.com has put up this new image on their website. Who do you think these creatures are, and what do you think their new abilities will be? We already know one is Tangath, so let's focus on the other two :).

  1. People have been speculating that the Underworld creature is Barath, but there is no resemblance. Someone also said that it's something like Magmon in armor, but that is also very doubtful. The Danian was supposedly Odu-Bathax. As for the Mipedian, he is of equal build as Tangath, which seems to indicate that he's going to be pretty strong and likely an Elite. I highly doubt he is a known creature as he is green and wearing rather unique clothing. I feel that he and the Underworlder will be new creatures. I can't say much about the Danian since not only is his back turned, there is text blocking him.

  2. It's interesting that the Mipedian is wearing a blue cape... so we know what that means...

Also, don't you mean focus on the other 'three' Occasus? There is a Danian there.

  3. I don't know, that fire guys looks like barath to me. Look at his armor, and then his hand, they are pretty similar.

  4. And I suppose there is! It sort of reminds me of Slurk though, but a danian would make the most sense.

  5. I think the Mipedian could be Ario. The Danian could be Odu-Bathax, it hope it is as he was a good creature and could use a remake, and the UW is supposedly Barath but the head's completely different from the looks of it. Although no one though Nauthilax Tainted was another Nauthilax so I don't know.

  9. OW - Tangeth Toborn
    MEP - Meleke {This would make since, since he is in TTOG's art}
UW - I say Ghull. He has bug like facial features like him, adn he has that weird pincer thing, only I bet he's in somekind of Fire armour.
Danian - unknown, I guessed it was Nuathilax, but thats impossible. Maby Odu-bathax? But in that art he would have tentacles, maby he is a M'arrillian outcast?

  10. Actually, there are 5 people in the picture. You cant see it on this version, but on TCDOP there is a little foot in the top right corner. I think it is Vidav. That looks like the training grounds, but I could be wrong about that. Here is who I think the creatures are:
    Left:Tangath
    Top:Ario
    Right:Barath
    Bottom:Odu-Bathax

  11. The Mipedian is not Uro, or Ario, or Melke. The Underworlder does seem to have Barath's hands but look at his face and body, the aesthetics are completely different. And the Danian isn't Odu-Bathax, look at it's back and it's pretty obvious that his and Odu-Bathax's are completely different. I hope you guys know that these creatures don't have to be previously established and can be new.

  13. • Each Tribe receives a powerful General and Lieutenant that play well with other Tribes.

    • New and exciting versions of old
favorites take the fight back to the
    invaders.

2 separate points from the sell sheet with no necessary relation.

If you have some other kind of source that directly says that the Generals will all be older creatures, then feel free to post it.

  15. EarthWater, comment above mine is right. If you don't believe me, take a look at TCDOP, it currently has a new article up called The Generals which shows two of the 4 Generals (one of which is Toborn), and the other is Gorram, a brand new Danian.

  16. "Each tribe has one general – Tangath for the Overworld, Barath Beyond for the Underworld, Gorram for the Danians, and Grantkae for the Mipedians – who is representative of the way that tribe works with the others in the battle against the M’arrillians." - Brian Kibler

    For good measure.

  19. Based on the Mipedian's featuers I would guess Ario in a new armor... the Danian is 90% likely Odu Bathax, only Bluish Green Danian, but the UW escapes me... he looks far different than any UW i've ever seen due to those big flames coming out of his shoulders, otherwise I'd say Barath Beyond.

  20. The Generals are confirmed to be Tangath Toborn for Overworld, Gorram for Danian, Barath Beyond for Underworld and Grantkae for Mipedian.

  21. i doubt the mipedian is ario. they're both green, but as i recall, ario was quite a bit overweight. thi mipedian also looks younger to me, so i don't think that's ario. the one pn the right, th underworlder, i don't think he's barath beyond. his hands are exactly the same, but other than that, the only resemblance is the armor. perhaps he is a new underworlder, or a rerelease of barath, possibly tainted. the danian is definately odu-bathax, though.
