Chaotic card of the week
This week we'll be talking about Illusionary Lake.
I absolutely love this location. It it is a great location for any deck that does not use the water element. The location's first ability will be in effect before initiative is decided, so neither creatures will have the element water when it decides who gets to attack first. This means unless your opponent's creature has surprise, you will always get the initiative.
So this location is great for two reasons. The first is that you almost always get the initiative. The second is that your opponent loses the water element. This effect is even stronger thanks to the new rules involving element x.
So rate it out of five :).

Obviously when using it you yourself would not have the Water Element, so, I'll give it a 4.25/5. Weird number but I thought 4.5 was too high and 4 was too low. If your opponent doesn't have Water it'll just be a straightforward battle, making nothing more than a way to get initiative, which isn't bad of course. But if you are fighting creatures with say Water 10 than, that battle will pretty much be a guaranteed win.
I put that location in all my non water decks. It's awesome for disabling fluidmorphers.
Yup it is quite sweet :) I use it all of my builds that aren't m'arrillian. Its a shame that its bugged and right now in the Imthor drome, because it was something that made my UW deck competitive.
Its is a great card that should be a staple in all decks. Just like Mipedum Mirage.
Sigh, if only I had one or two :P
Yup, Awesome card for Non-water decks... I'd love it for Dry-Tribe decks...
4.5 is what i'd rate it...

I rate it.... Squirrel.
Well okay then... anyway I forgot to mention it's one of 3 staple cards in all of my decks: Illusinary Lake, Mepedim Mirage, Forest of Life During Achlyys.
i would rate it a 4.75/5 because it would be a great addition to my underworld deck
