From the Gauntlet

Welcome back for another installment of From the Gauntlet. After mulling over what to write about for a while (and trust me, it was a good while) I finally selected a topic. Today we’ll review some tips and tricks that you should use while playing Chaotic that can improve your game and chances of winning. As usual here in From the Gauntlet I will also present a deck list which exemplifies these tips...

Nice article Occasus. I totally agree. All the principles you talked about are things we all should apply. I like the mugic reprise. It is an original touch.;)

That's really interesting... although I'm a very good and strategic player, I've not thought of such ideas (I'm not trying to be conceited by the way). As for the deck, of course I'm not targeting you specifically, but I really dislike those kinds of armies because they're as unoriginal as the old Chaor/Bloot/Klasp armies back during 3v3.

Well I like the strat very nice!
I might do a deck with my own spin off your overworld deck...

Honestly I did pull a Mugic reprise in my first starter back in 07 lol...and then my friend got a Psionic serenade about a month ago so I got the serenade from him so I do run something like that combo...but I like to run with fluidmorphers + kha'rall and minions...its a interesting combo just I use 2 mugics that cost 1MC 2 that cost 2 MC and 2 that cost 3MC...so it takes a little bit of time to really get playing...
I'd love some tips on m'arrillians and fluidmorphers...
Its really tricky using a Anger'keem when you know you REALLY could use Mock'adyn ;)

Great tips, tought me a lot and i'll start watching my opponent's hard a little stronger ;)

Let the code be with you!

I personally hate the idea of Psionic Serenade. It is totally unoriginal, but yet so many use it. I love the idea, and I had an idea like this, but still, serenade is used in almost every deck I ever see. I don't use it, and I don't use decks that others use, unless I am the inventor of them. :)

Great deck, and great tips!

Maliph would be a good substitute, but I'm not sure what would be a good change for Blaz.

Well I just recently did that and it was very helpful but then my next game online it wasn't help full it all depends if your oppoenent is willing to play high cost attack cards and save them toward the end
