Let me tell you a little story. I was at Gen Con for nationals, and I just got back from this match against a swift/range mipedian deck that used Saand and this Chaotic Employee asked, "Do you like Saand?" I replied that I liked him, and could get quite annoying at times :P. Then he said "Yeah, it is a design team favorite too." So don't take my word for it, I'm not alone!
Just look at him: Surprise, fairly nice stats, and air 5. He is a very power creature, and is the mipedian equivalent of Barath Beyond and everyone will agree with me when I say that he is a good card.
So see if you can work him into an air based mipedian deck, you might just be pleasantly surprised :).

It was about time you talk about this one (lol). The number of card that can exploit the weakness of this card. And if your deck is base on is second ability, it can be a real problem to your opponent.
Occasus, there was some time that I wanted to give you this suggestion : can you give some idea to use the card of the day? Like which battle gear could make this card more interesting? And I'm not just talking about the obvious one. It could be good for new player or to give deck idea to old one.
