Wow, this is going to come up a lot later than I thought, but life sure gets in the way some times!
Let's talk about Mivindal. I personally like him. He pretty much gives you an extra copy of any mandiblor in your army. On top of getting an extra fighter for free, you get an additional mugic counter to cast one of your mugics if you need it.
Mivindal is the creature version of Talisman of Mandiblor, but you don't have to wait for him to be engaged so you can use his ability. This makes him more versitile than a regular danian mugic caster with a Talisman of Mandiblor, but choosing between the two of them is a matter of preference.

P.S. FIRST POST!!!
Mivindal is a nice card, but if aaune was defeated in avatar form, can he come back as avatar?
No, he would come back as Projection.
Anyways, Mvindal is pretty good, I wouldn't mind using him instead of my TotM Danian. Weird how I still don't have him though, after buying something like 2 or 3 boxes.
He's great depending on the build, whether you use beatstick Mandiblors like Kolmo and Hammerdoom Assimilated, or things like Nimmei and Katharaz, since Mandiblor Crown and the like doesnt work in the disard pile, and Tassanil's effect is on field only... so yes, very nice, but depends on the build, if it was any Danian peroid, it would be ungodly. It's also a lovely card for Aa'Une if you use the mugic to bring back battle gear :D
Tsunai
He's great with Aa'une decks if you Aa'une is defeated you get a second chance to awaken the Avatar when Mivindal is around
Better have a second Chefitan, or better yet, that mugic that allows you to use brainwash abilities.
meh keep forgetting to put

Last post was mine!!
OG, you don't need to mention that you posted a comment, or that you got the FIRST POST. Seriously, it doesn't really matter.
Frankly mivindal is a bad card in comparsion to others. A kannen will do the same job except with kannen you can revive that mandiblor anywhere on the board. Kannen can also activate hive with his mugic counter. Nice card but I'd use Kannen over him in a pure danian deck.
Your mistaken with reviving aa'une with mivindal. It says that you return a cheiftain from the discard pile, that means that you couldn't revive the baton of aa'une. Meaning it would be pretty useless to sacrifice him to bring back just extra dead weight.
That's true, and I don't know who mentioned getting Aa'une back with his gear with just Mivindal, but there are other ways to bring back gear, so it could still potentially work.
Also you will need another chieftan or some way to use the brainwash ability to bring back a chieftan.
