Chaotic Card of the Week-September 24

This week's card is Jaal :).

Jaal is one of the craftier of the Danian tribe. I can't tell you how many players got flustered after losing one of their ultra rare creatures to jaal. You guys need to understand that just because a creature is an uncommon, doesn't mean that it isn't playable, or bad. Yugioh has numbed you guys to how rarity works :P. Many factors go into what rarity a card will be, it isn't all about how strong it is. So don't go around saying cards are too good and need to be of a higher rarity, because TC Digital knows what they are doing.

Any way, back to jaal. Any creature with element X is something that you need to watch out for. Even though you have to wait a little bit for him to get it, the infection part of his ability makes him almost better. Pair him up with the queen and you will be getting extra mugic counters so you will be saving your Lore's mugic counters to be dealing damage ;).

Very nice. Thinking like a true danian player. Infecting creatures with jaal and saving lore's counters are both things I like to do. Jaal with a song of surprisal equals an easy counter for the queen besides the fact that you get to destroy a muge such as ulmar.

I don't know... I know Jaal is good, but he can easily be replaced by one of the newer Danians or Kolmo and Hammer. Not only that, he loses synergy with his kin in the sense that his best stat is wisdom while most of the newer Danians and the two assimilated ones specialize in Courage. Furthermore, Danians are separating a bit more from Earth (I hope this stops) and more to water. If you ask me, an easy replacement for Jaal could be the 60 Energy Danian with Earth and Water, Water 5, decent stats and Hive that gives him 10 Energy. Jaal did have his time but I think he will not last. I also recently made up a much better infection solution then using Jaal but that's besides the point...

We all know that danians are weak to begin with, if jaal is the danian that can hit the highest... then maybe thats y nobody uses them

Danians aren't as weak as you think. The danian deck that I posted hasn't lost to a warbeast deck yet, and wins most of its underworld and overworld matches.

這實在是太棒了!我喜歡它。

nice pick but I thought jaal was already a pick of yours a while back

Occasus, the deck you posted is fairly weak and although would take out most badly structured decks, a properly structured one would annihilate your army. As for Danians being weak, take a look at the new set and tell me if they suck. Furthermore, Illexia is the best Ultra Rare creature of any set so far as it is the most versatile.

I have won many underworld matches with my deck, one yesterday in fact with that danian deck. It hasn't had much resistance from the elementalist twister deck out there, and really does hold its own.

And a new danian deck comes with this next set that is incredibly strong, so danians are very metagame worthy.

Did anyone else get Toxis instead of Jaal?
