Counterfeits

Blargers just posted an announcement about fake chaotic cards out there, so here are some pictures of what not to get. I guess this is for the extremely small amount of people who read my blog before announcements :P.

You can easily tell that the silent sands pack and the deck are fake because why would an overworld deck show a malvadine on it and why would a silent sands pack show a creature from dawn of perim.

irock72 here. it's annoying that people are making counterfeits. at least they're bad counterfeits.

I agree but all we really can do is find out if things our counterfeit or search for people th
at make them but unfortunately the police would only help if it was something "Important" like money.

Can anyone say collectors items!

I so want those for the purpose of seeing different cards.

remember those guys who played only to copy codes?

i have just come to a conclusion, but first let me explain what im talking about ...

does anybody remember claims of players who would only play to copy the codes of their opponents?
i cant remember who made the claims (or "victums") nor the accused of copying codes (or "culprites"), but i do remember the event(s).

well, if anybodys read the recent announcements, then they'd know about the counterfeits recently arising.

made the connection yet?

it was said that the counterfeits bore valid codes, but used codes.
so if you tried to upload it, it would read as "already been uploaded" and in the yellow boarder.

therefore, i have come to the conclusion that these "copy codes" where under the employ, if not directly participating in, the counterfeiters!

now of course this is only my theory and at this point is mere speculation, but if we could link the 'fake' codes of the counterfeits with the codes of cards used by "victums" ...

(from [BlackTree]s topic, "copy codes" & their objective theory/speculation
