Deck Updating: Elemental Twister

Before I get into this, I want to say that the name is really false advertising. This deck, although is still an overworld deck, has nothing to do with Elemental Twister, or Elementalists.

1 2 3
4 5
6

1. Gronmor/Viledriver
2. Gronmor/Viledriver
3. Tangath Toborn, In Training/Torrent Krinth
4. Tartarek, Psi Overloader/Destructozooka
5. Karraba/Challor
6. Karraba/Challor

Attacks:
2x Steam Rage
1x Torrent of Flame
2x Incinerase
2x Purifying Mud
1x Liquescent Swirl
2x Elemental Oxidation
2x Reckless Defeat
2x Ember Swarm
2x Heat Rage
2x Perplexing Heat
2x Outwit

Locations:
2x The Darkened Dunes
2x Mipedim Mirage
2x Riverlands
2x Mount Pillar Reservoir Neth'uar's Foothold
1x Imaginary Walls
1x Kiru City

Mugic:
1x Strain of the Tide
2x Rhyme of the Reckless
1x Song of Resurgence
1x Nourishing Nocturne
1x Psionic Serenade

Gronmor is your best creature. He is a better version of all of your fighting creatures. Tartarek probably won't be fighting much at all. He is the creature that you will be sacrificing to Nourishing Nocturne, and depending on his energy, you might also use Psionic Serenade with him. Remember that these mugics shouldn't be used to win battles that you could win with one of your creatures.

Remember that you have two Karabas. You need to make sure that you use their healing ability before you use them to cast mugic with them. If you cast mugic first, their healing ability won't be as effective. Use the counters on Tangath first. The counters on Tartarek will be used for the Nourishing Nocturne, and remember to keep two mugic counters on one of the Karrabas to play a Psionic Screnade.

very interesting... I was thinking of something very similar today, but without tartek (as I don't have one) and a Maxxor instead... I've never made an online OW deck, so this was very useful to me. Occassus I think we think alot alike, because I saw your mipedian strike creature build aswell and boy its ALOT like mine too lol.

My original version didn't have Tartarek, because I didn't have one then either :P. You can replace him with a Maxxor and switch Nourishing Nocturne with a Song of Resurgence and you should be all set.

Now if I can only get my hands on a few gronmors... i'll be all set. Got a Tangath IT last night this may take a while.

That is the most generic Overworld army I've ever seen. All you did was stuff it with the best Overworld creatures. Not very creative at all.

I really hate it that overpowered creatures like Gronmor (and now the 10X more powerful Ginwei) are not given Unique when obviously they deserve it. It's unfair, only the Overworld is getting these super strong creatures. While the other Tribes to get strong creatures they're always properly deemed Unique.

I have a deck much like this. But different. It is a intrseting deck, not a big fan of the battlegear (srry) I would rate it 8 out of 10!

In one of my decks I have a karrab and okaxor. Okaxor has heptadd's corwn to use song of revival and something else. It is a little weird but...

it is effective!

Oh I really do like this deck.

Sincerly,

did you get my pm

You can't use Song of Revival on Overworlders.

I agree , this is the most generic army ive ever seen, and its not even much of an update its just pretty much taking out most of the creatures and switching them with new overworlders from the new set, in the end just having a bunch of powerful creatures which dont even have to do with elementalists.sorry im being so harsh its just it doesnt appeal to me has much

I beleive that heptadd's crown allows you to use mugic from any tribe but you lose 10 energy.

Yah but song of revivals ability specificly states that it can only revive underworlders
