Recreating The Color Wheel 2: Danian

Danians are bug-like creatures, but their likeness with insects doesn't stop at their appearance. Creatures like Nimmei, Odu-Bathax and Wamma rely on the number of Mandiblors to power themselves up. Thing of it like a swarm of bees. One won't do much damage, only a little sting, but if enough get together, they can be life threatening! The work together to make several weaker creatures become one serious threat! If it wasn't for other Mandiblores, Nimmei wouldn't be as strong of a creature as he is. Most creautres wouldn't have much trouble taking him down, but thanks to his ability, he is one of the strongest danians out there.

Then there is infection, danian's secret little weapon that isn't so secret any more. Why bother fight an enemy when you can have him fight for you? Danians use their infection ability to make enemy creatures power their insect forces up!

Then there is the parasitic nature of some of them. They can draw on the energy of other creatures, like in Song of Symmetry, or sometimes even off of themselves like in Strain of Infection.

Danians are strong in all of the elements, but they aren't as focused on Fire.

Please comment, criticize, or whatever you'd like :).

Very nice but you didn't mention infection which I believe is an important part of danian strategy.

Doh! I knew I forgot something, and I am sure there are a few other things I could touch on. I guess I should have asked you :P.

Nimei is so far my favourite danian creature in the new set! It seems to me that danians in general are getting more elemental and by that I mean that they are having a more variety of elements they have!

I also love his ability! I wouldn't use him in 1 on 1 or 3 on 3 though!

Nice update Occasus. I don't know what you meant by draw upon another creatures power when you mentioned song of symmetry though...:p

And bigpanda, I reworded it to "draw upon another creatures energy" :).

great update, but i find it kinda difficult to create a danian deck when alot of them have scattered elements, or none at all :( plus their hive and infect abilities have waaay too many variables. if u forget one detail, ur deck will self-destruct on itself T_T

I never really understood of the advantages of infection does an infected creature count as a mandablor or is it just like hive where the effects varies

Occasus that was an awsome reveiw but you forgot one other thing Danians tend to count on, revival! one of there most key things is revival or even now with necrabe anti-revival.

Don't forget to focus on their two specific creatures, Invis and Warbeast. As for this Danian article, interesting, but short, and you could include some strategies for some newer players to get started with.

Nice article but arent the danian's weakest element air? Since they have a lot of danians with the fire elements in other sets

Acullay no the Danian's weakist element is fire theo nly Danians i know with fire that come to mind are Hota,Wamma and Faash. With the resent set there alot more air danians resently Like Nimmei,Tabaal and Necrabe added with the one from hive Ramhiver that makes 4 danians so far with air and i think there are more.
